Ramona is getting older now. She is starting school in the main building, and not sure if she likes her teacher. Cleary accurately portrays the uncertainties that can occur in children's minds, and does not pretend childhood is all sunshine and roses.

Ramona thinks she's brave and fearless but she truly is deep inside. If Ramona was ever a real person, which she is to me, I'd probably love to be her friend. She is so interesting, it's hilarious. Like the word "guts". I'll always seem to think of her now.

Great children's book. As always Beverly Clearly delivers a wholesome entertaining story. Appropriate for 1st -3rd graders. Follow all Ramona Quimby's adventures. Both my son and daughter enjoyed this book!
